Deep Drop Badlands

Enjoy fishing on a deep drop dive in Tarpon Springs, Florida!

The trip departs at 10 AM, and returns at approximately 10PM. We take 15 Anglers on these specialty trips.

Book Starboard side as we drift fish for these trip.

We will get two full days of fishing and one night.

On Day one we will target yellow eye, Black fin, Queen, Vermillion and Wenchman snapper in 450-1200 feet of water. We should also catch big Grey Tile Fish, Scamp Grouper, Snowy and Yellow edge grouper too. On day two we will fish the deep waters off of the west Florida Escarpment for Golden Tilefish, Leviathan Snapper, Queen Snapper, and Barrel Grouper. You should be ready to fish in water up to 1500 feet deep on this trip. We do not supply any sinkers on deep drop trips, we suggest bringing at minimum (Qty. 8) 2 – 4 lb. deep drop weights.

Trolling aboard the Gulfstar Endurance is always welcome. If you have some trolling gear, bring it and put it out! Check-in begins one hour prior to departure or when otherwise advised by Captain and (or) Mates.
